These protein balls will have you running back to the fridge for more and more. I used to make super fancy protein balls that used five or six different nuts and numerous seeds etc. VERY expensive and much more complicated than this recipe. Upon special request from a friend I started making a similar recipe for her family. I have added a couple of things since then and perfected the consistency for best “balling compactability” (yes that’s a word). They are such a hit in our house! I can barely finish processing a batch and I already have 3 sets of hands begging for a bite like little puppies. They are perfect for adults and kids alike. My husband kills cravings with them in between meals. I feed them to the girls as a snack and also in the mornings made into a complete meal with a 1/4 cup of Greek yogurt and their favorite scrambled egg whites. I personally like eating one before I workout in the morning, I usually have a whole IsaLean meal replacement shake along with it. You can get the same one here. I know you will enjoy this recipe. Peanut Butter Protein Balls
2 cups of gluten free oats
1/2 cup golden flax seed meal
1 or 2 scoops chocolate IsaLean shake or IsaPro
1 Tbsp black chia seeds
1/2 cup raw, unsalted peanut butter
1/2 cup raw, unfiltered honey
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 Tbsp coconut canned coconut milk
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup raw cacao nibs or vegan dark chocolate chips
Place all ingredient into food processor (except dark chocolate chips if that is what you’re using). Pulse food processor until all ingredients are combined and begin to “ball up” like dough would. Using a 1.5 tablespoon cookie scoop packed firmly, scoop into your hand and roll into a ball and place in a container that you can keep in the fridge. Repeat until they’re all balled up. Store air tight in the refrigerator.
